Ensembled

Mud Sweat and Circus

Ensembled is the Arctic Ensemble’s first work for the group’s own circus tent.

The tent creates a world of its own, escaping the rules and laws of external reality. The tent fabric is the interface of another reality: people floating in the air and flying through the tent emphasise the fact that inside the tent gravity is actually switched off. Many can be one, and not all are what they seem at first.
The collective’s passionate relationship with group acrobatics is the driving force of the show and Ensembled is an invitation to experience this up close: circus trust, sharing, working together and finding boundaries.

The acrobatic fingerprints of 9 circus artists will be seen on the stage of the custom-made tent. The performance, accompanied by live music, condenses several years of touring, dedication and the power of collaboration.

Ensembled is more than a circus show, but what? The only way to find out is to step inside.
